Neckwarmers for a better world. Tubular scarves made from recycled cotton and wool for adults. Sustainable materials and local production. For our products, we select materials with the lowest possible environmental impact. Additionally, all production stages take place in the province of Barcelona. **Integrated production cotton** We use cotton from Andalusia, grown under integrated production (a method that limits chemical use to protect the environment, workers' health, and safety). While not organic, it’s a more sustainable option than importing organic cotton, which is primarily cultivated in Asia and the Americas. **Recycled wool** For our warmest scarves, we use recycled wool from Girona. The process involves repurposing leftover fabric scraps from textile factories. They are sorted by color, shredded, and re-spun—generating no waste and avoiding dyeing, a highly polluting and water-intensive process. **Process control** We handle knitting, washing, dyeing, cutting, printing, and sewing. **Sustainable packaging** Our packaging design follows environmental criteria. We use kraft cardboard and hemp twine (easily separable) and avoid petroleum-based materials. Printing is done with a single ink, and the packaging doubles as informational material. **NGO donations** 10% of each product’s sale price goes to an environmental NGO. **Educational content** Included with every product and on our website to raise environmental awareness. **Local and sustainable** All products are handmade in Barcelona using 100% Spanish cotton. **Who’s behind it** I’m Alba Calls. I grew up surrounded by nature and have been fortunate never to lose that connection. The chance to enjoy and understand it has made me love and defend it. Work consumed me, pulling me away from what matters—so I left to create a project aligned with my values, fighting to preserve what I love. I work as much or more, but now with conviction and joy!
